Refund Policy

  • There will be no refunds on raffle calendars, fundraising fees, club fees or Skate Canada fees. No exceptions.
  • There will be no on the spot refunds. Approved refunds will only be given at the end of the season.
  • Any request for a refund that falls outside of the following policies is subject to board approval.

Regular Season Refunds 

Refunds will only be provided for medical reasons. Refunds will take effect when the Registrar receives a written notice of withdrawal within 4 weeks of the first purchased skating session. After 4 weeks, a pro-rated refund (less a refund processing fee of $25) will be granted for medical reasons (supported by medical documentation/certificate) or upon approval of the MDSC.

Exception – Only 1st time CanSkaters are eligible for a FULL registration refund within 4 weeks of the session start date. *No refunds on raffle calendars, fundraising, Skate Canada, or club fees.

 

Spring School

Refunds will only be granted prior to the start of Spring School when the Spring School Coordinator receives a written notice of the request. After the first skating session, a prorated refund will only be given with a doctor's certificate or upon approval of the MDSC board. There will be a $25 administration fee for any refunds or changes made to a registration.
